Guincho Club
Since the beginning of the 1970's the Banco Português
do Atlântico has organised seminars for non-Portuguese bankers.
These events have provided opportunities for bankers from many
countries to discuss and exchange opinions on the principle problems
of the Portuguese economy and other financial themes of global
interest.
The Guincho Club, named after the place of the first meeting,
has been associated with the seminars since 1971 and offers social
events for the participants.
Usually taking place on the weekend before the seminar, this
initiative provides the opportunity for the bankers to develop
personal and professional relationships. The club has become very
special with its own characteristic flavour.
